Day 1: From Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou to Tinghir

Following an early morning departure from the Marrakech accommodation, the trip starts by traversing through the High Atlas Mountains past one Berber village after another, until Ait Ben Haddou, The place is famous for its Kasbah and fortified village and was previously used as a backdrop for famous Hollywood epics and also as a backdrop to some fashion magazine photo shoots.

After some time to wander around the village and its Kasbah, you can eat lunch at one of the local restaurants, then continue on your way through Ouarzazate which is often referred to as”the Gate of the Sahara, and on to Boumalne Dades, admiring the beautiful scenery along the way which you can have dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: From Boumalne Dades to Tinghir, Todra Gorge to Merzouga

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and head towards the spectacular Todra Gorges. Stop in the canyons, and take a lunch break in a local café. Continue to Merzouga where you will meet the caravan of camels.

Experience then the Erg Chebbi dunes riding on camelback, and witness the sunset transform the hue of the dunes. Get to your desert camp before the dark falls and you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner in the open air. Nomads from the local area will give you entertainment and will show how you can play Tam Tam drums. Have a delicious morocan food and an overnight stay in the tente.

Day 3: From Merzouga, Ouarzazate to Marrakech

On the third day of the desert tour, witness an early Erg Chebbi sunrise and then ride a camel. Your guide will drive you back to Marrakech through the Volcanic landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the village of Nkob.

In Ouarzazate, you will enjoy your lunch in this magnificent city. In the afternoon, start your drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

And here comes an end to your 3 days desert tour and back to your hotel or accommodation in Marrakech around 7 pm.
